Plastering in Barlborough near Chesterfield
Called to examine substandard plastering to lounge in Barlborough near Chesterfield. Due to the age of the property plaster had blown in areas. Our solution to the problem was to remove old plaster to approximately 450mm above DPC (Damp Proof Course) and replace using plaster mixed with bonding agents so a good adhesion to the old external wall brickwork is achieved.
Following the drying out of the plaster we returned and skimmed all the walls and ceiling. New skirting board was added and the client was quite happy to paint the finished walls at their convenience.
